Are the G.SKILL F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH Ripjaws the best value memory to use with the i5 750? I'm not looking for the highest possible overclock with air cooling. I'm just hoping to get a decent 750, RAM, and mobo that will get me a 4ghz oc. Are there certain steppings that I should be looking out for with the i5 750?

You usually can't go wrong with G.Skill RAM.

I've used the following RAM in a few i5 750 builds and have been very happy with each of them.

    G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
    G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
    Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

The G.Skill F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH Ripjaws you mentioned has better timings than the ones I've used, but I was able to run all of the above RAM at 8-8-8-21 without issues (I did underclock them a bit though).

It's amazing how the RAM prices keeps going up, when most computer part prices are coming down (I was buying the above RAM for $75-$85 just a couple of months back).

    Good luck with your build!

powergiga08 at 4ghz you would use much lower voltage, 1.344-1.3625. And the performance would be akmost the same.
Your chip is a midddy one, like mine . I have a vid of 1.243v and it can do 4ghz with 1.328v-lod(1.331v bios)-priming 2-3hours(in signature 1.312v it can do about 40 minutes). I don't think that it would go with less voltage on other boards.

i did use voltage range from 1.344-1.3625 with 4ghz no problem but try run any stress apps, it will reboot or hard crash so i increase the higher voltage till stable for running stress apps.

oh here is article that Asrock is only this board take high voltage and vtt too link at http://www.fudzilla.com/content/view/16328/40/ read on.

BTW, WEI processor score from 7.5 with 4ghz to 7.6 with 4.2ghz.

Just picked up a new I5 750 from ebay, FPO/Batch# L933B464. Looking forward to getting it in and clocking it up. I did some research and it looks like the L933XXX batches are some of the best thus far. 4Ghz should be easily obtainable on low volts, looking for 4.2Ghz 24/7 P95 stable

Some testing with water cooling in a bit chilled environment (10-15° C). Cpu had ~25° under load according to motherboard debugger screen (not completly reliable).

SPI1M @4907 MHz (24x 204 MHz) Had a screen with ram at 7-8-7-21 @1.7V, but saved screen is white

3D mark 2005 in my 24/7 system, haven't tried higher yet. I had already closed the window, load temp ~28 according to debugger screen.
    4692MHz (24x 195.5MHz)

yeap that's correct, it's all on the cpu, mine is more voltage hungry, for 4ghz i need 1.368 in bios LLC on with 1.21vtt in order to be stable @ 200 x 20 with ram running @ 2000cl9 bad luck twice :L934BXXX and the other was a L938bXXX

If your location is Vancouver, you should check out NCIX as they usually have GSkill Ripjaw kits on their weekly sale page.
Which G.Skill Ripjaws should I get? There is a price difference of $2 between the G.SKILL F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH Ripjaws and the G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL Ripjaws. At the same time, there are also the non-Ripjaws version selling for the same price, but it seems like I should go for the Ripjaws version. So which one should I stick with?

I'd recommend the F3-128000CL9D -4GBRL Ripjaws set, it's the set I am running and it's been great. That's the same set linked by LazyDogNet in the post above^
The latencies, although listed at CL9, can be run lower if you are not doing a high overclock. But it provides more headroom for a high overclock as well, this is very versatile ram. Ramp it up to DDR-2000 and it really flies.
