Looks amazing, I especially love the black version.
Good job, and I'm sure these will set like hot pies!

A single bay res with 2 discrete tanks would be a godsend for those of us running two loops. Any chance of a double bay res with 2 discrete holding areas?

NICE WORK on the new ones.
Thanks! Not sure what you mean by the Dual T3 though as it will still be a single D5 that can run PARALLEL loops (I got yelled at in here when I called it dual loops remember?)

I agree on the dual tank. I have been running one for a year or so now and there is an advantage beyond performance that never occurred to me before I installed it--swapping components is a bit easier like a new CPu of video card. I swap parts in and out all the time so this is particularly useful for me.

I will post up some quick snaps of the two different tank configurations (single and dual tank) without face plates shortly so you guys can see how they are different.

On a Dual bay version, yes expect one shortly.

OK--Camera is at the shop and I am at home so I took a screen cap from Solid Works that shows the difference between the single and the dual tank variants.

On the single tank there is a partial divider to help trap air so it can be bled. On the dual tank the divider extends all the way creating discrete tanks. On the single there are four rear ports and on the dual these are divided 2 ports per tank.

I also asked Brian to get a few pictures of some of the other colors when he gets a chance and I will post those when/if if does.

Is there a chance of getting a 'view through' shot of one of them?
The reason I ask is that I have a 5.25 res right now and the fill port was horridly designed. It not only fails at allowing the water to fill the res, it actually captures and traps air pockets.

    Sure.

Not sure if that helps, but both the left and the right fill ports are of the high point variety and have a small cavity to catch air that also allows for "topping off". I used two fill ports so that it doesn't matter if your case sits on the left or right of your display and for air release as your filling your loop so it is faster. Primo is now selling a 2" diameter machined delrin funnel that has G1/4 threads and an O ring that fit these reservoirs perfectly...put the funnel on one port and let air escape through the other as you fill the system.

There will also be ab optional window for these that has the front ports found on the standard T3 for those that have found out how easy front ports make system maintenance.

Bellow is an exploded view of the twin tank for those interested in the design. The front to back dimension (front face of the face plate to the back face of the main body) is a svelte 2.5" or 63.5mm

Lastly heres a back view of the T3 version that shows the ports and the machined aluminum pump mounting ring. The diamond knurling is not shown.

Yup that shows what I was curious about. Much better design for filling.

Heres a shot of the new delrin small footprint fill/drain port with the funnel I mentioned screwed into the top (fill port). Also shows a Split window in red and black though the black faced parts will come with BLACK fill port plugs not silver.

The little board is the 20 station LED driver. The black rectangle on it is a molex plug so you can get a size reference.

That is without the light bar or its cover in place so you can get an idea how I got the UV LED light into the tank/s

From the back/outside the units are identical--if that was a single tank then all four ports feed the reservoir and if it was a dual tank then the two on each side feed a separate reservoir.

Yes, all the plugs/fittings will be G1/4.

And it's only a silly question if you don't ask and then are disappointed when you get it because you assumed right?

Man so many options!! I really love that red and black setup. I have been pretty happy with my T3, but I really want that delrin T3 in red. Not sure if I want the res only or the T3 version, decisions, decisions....

What I would be up for is, if Brian took a deposit for the T3 and made it in the colour I wanted.
Far be it for me to tell Brian how to run a business though.
This new T3 sounds and looks fantastic.
This would make my case totally complete.

Oh boxgods.. I have another question if you don't mind.
At present, I have a mountain mods H2gO case. The 5.25 drive bays sit on the bottom of the case and the radiators (typically) and motherboard (so waterblock(s)) sit on the top half of the case.
What difficulty do you think there would be with filling this system up with the res, rads and blocks in their 'approximate' place?
The rads and block(s) would be sitting higher than the res, how much of an issue do you think it would be to fill the system?

I ask because I know there are other cases that have the 5.25 bays on the lower portion of the towers... so a bit curious on your thoughts.

I am guessing the case is too big/heavy to be rolled over onto it's back for filling? I ask because if you do rotate it over onto it's back then the T3 becomes the highest point in the loop and filling is certainly easier.

Barring that, there is also a small foot print fill port in delrin that comes in matching colors available now. Also a delrin funnel with G1/4 threads. I made the fill/drain port as small as i could so it can be mounted in tight spaces and is not an eyesore on the outside of a case. Let's call it an auxiliary or remote fill/drain port in this instance so people understand it's not physically on the reservoir.

Using a remote location for a fill and a drain port is not exactly optimum as it is a little extra plumbing, but it does help get all the air out.

Good grief people have a short memory. Until an acceptable level of customer service is achieved by Primochill I for one don't give a damn what they sell.

Sorry for not pulling punches, just how I feel. Nice to see how all the people who bought faulty T3's had their hard earned cash invested though.

I can't believe this thread has appeared before people have even had RMA emails acknowledged.

Edit: Post context in response to the company's product release. I do understand that you personally work pretty much freelance BoxGods. The Primochill logo is all over the images though. There are obvious flaws in Primochills ability to support its products aftersales and deliver a part suitable for purpose from the designs they receive.

I felt the same as you but for reasons unknown Primochill stepped up to the mark and have honoured the warranty.
I can't ask for more than that.
I believe innovation should be praised and BG's new T3 is just far to irresistable to resist.
