Just wanna report in there for the first time.
I have a Asus 5870 as in the sig. I have not experienced a single issue since I bought the card
during Christmas holidays. Not in desktops , games, or bootup.
But I have gotten grey screens(instead of BSOD) for bad overclock settings for my i7 920. making the overclocking
process harder. But as some has mentioned, increasing the voltages of my vcore help and it went away.
4.0Ghz OC was no problem. Now my 920 is at 4.3Ghz, I will report back when I can do some test in games and regular usage.
( On the other hand, My buddy has a Sapphire 5970 OC and it only has the grey screen when running prime95. but not others. )
Good luck to everyone and I hope ATI officially comes out with a solution to this, else this going to hurt their image and sale either way.
