57xx and 58xx locking problems with stripes

The guy's gsod explanation is faulty. Nearly every time I get it, it has NOTHING to do with a bsod. The system keeps running in the background, I just have no video. I can keep using TeamSpeak and anything else that doesn't require video. That doesn't sound like a locked up computer to me. That sounds like the GPU crapping its pants.

No, it's not faulty, it MAY be replacing a BSOD, that's the case with alot of people

Your problem problably is really a defective VGA, you should RMA it

put everything at stock speeds...GSOD!
stock speeds and +25mv on CPU vcore...no problems.

yeah, this video cards want a 110% stable system, but....why? any theory?
