    It does have a DisplayPort connection BTW.

    According to the datasheet Helmore linked the monitor is a H2-IPS panel, whatever that is. Supposedly it has improved energy efficiency. Could be just a marketing name. Also the monitors disappeared from HPs website for now. I'll wait for a review from either TFTcentral or Prad but they do seem very interesting especially considering the low price tag.
