AFAIK, that's why LCD TV's usually have a PC or game mode that makes the picture look like crap, but decreases the input lag substantially.
Oh, I whole-heartedly agree, I just think people put too much emphasise on whether the panel is LED backlit or not. I'll take CCFL all day long, I'm not too interested in LED until OLED is introduced at prices that the average consumer can afford.
