    Can 4-way classified really can fit in Corsair 800D?

    I've been searching in google to see if anyone had a Corsair 800D with a 4-way Classified and couldn't find any pictures, but I've seen people to claim it does, I need pics to believe it! Could anyone confirm this? Thanks!

    Why shouldn't it fit? It's a bit wider but not longer than an standard ATX mobo.

    I think you're a bit confused, 4-way classified is XL-ATX which is same width like regular classified but its also longer in height vs a regular classified...

    w00t, is there a case in which it does fit at all?

    EATX is a bit wider but not longer than usual, correct?

    the 4-way classified is in its own class, it is slightly larger than E-ATX. E-ATX is measured at 12x10.3, where as the classified is at 13.5x10.3

    Unless you plan to buy 4 of the Classified 285 cards, you are wasting your money, this is really what this board is aimed at.

    I'm not sure what cases exactly it will fit into on its own(if not used in 4-way)

    but the following cases are the only ones that have 10 slots or more to fit 4 GTX 285 cards for 4-Way SLI

    * Lian Li PC-P80
    * Lian Li PC-P80R
    * HEC 98 98R9BB
    * Thermaltake Xaser VI VG4000SNA
    * Thermaltake Xaser VI VG4000BWS
    * Thermaltake Xaser VI VG4000BNS
    * Thermaltake Xaser VI VG4000BNSB
    * Thermaltake ArmorPlus VH6000BWS
    * Mountain Mods Acension w/ Modular Motherboard Tray 10 PCI Slot
    * Xigmatek CPC-T75UB-U01

    (and i just measured my cosmos 1000 and it seems it would fit in there also (just)

    4 of the Classified 285 cards are a waste of money in it's own (except for benching, but those have sponsorship).

    As for the mobo, I think some people will shell that 100$ more just for
    the piece of mind in knowing that they bought the best there is.

    Who will buy classified 285 now that ATi 5800 series are out :x? the point of the threat was to see if it was possible so when the dual socket comes out which has almost dimensions could fit just as 4-way could...

    unless you run F@H or gpugrid; granted everyone would get the vanilla cards, but running 4 GTX285's would interest a lot of people probably

    I run 3 GTX 275's on some of my mobos for this very reason and If I could run 4 I would

    if I misunderstood what you were stating, I appologize

    I'm also interested in this, I'm anticipating the dual socket classified in three months and want to find a good case for it. Mountain Mods looks like about the best option at the moment. Pity Lian Li's PC-80 isn't very water cooling friendly.

    Funny, if you google that the only results are quoting that post from the eVGA forums.

    Pretty sure no such case exists. Xigmatek only lists a single case in its website and it sure can't fit 10 PCI slots.

    I never heard of Xigmatek and HEC before

    I find it funny thermaltake is such a cheap brand, that they come out with a case (Level 10) designed by BMW that costs a arm & leg though
