It's a fun rig. I'll post the screenies later, nothing too impressive given the CPUs we had. 200bclk though was solid![]()

Still can't beat my old 1024M GOM
Now where is my DP evga board![]()
Skinnee you missing out on the heat wave were having here, so you better bring back some shorts.
check the thread countI chose not to use the westmeres due to them being NDA chips. I could have ran 2x12 threads at 5.5+ if I had wanted
that board was hilarious, it has been modded to hell and back and the BIOS hardly works(memory timings? Lol). Very primitive, their BIOS engineer has weeks of work to do.
Pfff.. do you think I had memory timings to play with
Your board is under NDA, my chips are under NDA - that makes us equals here
In fact the only one who could/can beat that score w/o the use of the evga board is our dear Dave...![]()
AgreedDave is a cheater though, his chips are too awesome. Had I known I'd be playing with the EVGA board I'd have begged, pleaded, and prayed for a set of chips from Dave to put up some wicked numbers. Oh well, maybe when the board hits retail and if I get one to review
If this board retails for $600 or so I think it'll be THE board to use for dual socket crunching. It'll be a tough hit on the wallet but it'll make things so easy, just dial in 200MHz bclk and you are good to go. Now we just need $300 Westmere's with 19x multis. $1500 or so for 24 threads at 3.8GHz? Sounds like a decent deal to me.
