Hey Zeus...you'll have to come down for a session, mate. I'm amassing a small mountain of gear in anticipation of a month of all out benching when I get back. 5 new cpus, 2 new boards, 4 gpus, the mem..... the dewar, 5 pots and a new toy that plugs into mains..... (from Poland) I'll need a hand pouring 5 pots d00d

Looks good. Only one thing which interests me is if they'll still work on 2,25 GHz 8-8-8-24 1,65 V in the year 2015? Cause I crashed on such a thing few times...

5 years down the road?? In 5 years we'll probably be @ 3000+ mhz at 1 volt. Maybe DDR 5?? 5 years is a long time for any computer part in this fast changing market

Somebody would use it. It's not bad to sometimes buy the ex-top product, many of such motherboards offer great add-on things (WiFi etc.) for good money after 5 years+. But RAM tends to degrade too much. It's sometimes problem to bring them work on settings they are made for and not only those extreme ones. E.g. I had to set +0,3 V on old Corsair 2GB kit to make them work on reference 800 MHz.
