The lack of stock of T3 should give u a clue there.

There has been no word on the ABS version that's supposedly gonna fix all the cracking problems.

I'm not sure if they are doing anything at the moment. If they're just testing the new version to make sure there's no more problems... we should be hearing something about it here.

No. And they haven't taken care of all of those customers, including me, who have been affected by the cracking problems either.

Well, I'd wait to get a T3 until they have confirmed that production has been fully migrated and brought up to speed state-side again.

When reviews about the T3 were favorable, BoxGods would chime in on threads like this.

That's not helpful. Noone's "biotch"-ing here, a simple question was asked - are they fixed. The answer is clear, and was given - no. Further useful information, that supplied customer service is at present lacking, has also been provided, as a caveat should the OP decide to proceed anyway.

Calling those folks replying to the thread confirming that they've had issues and sharing their experiences "cranks" is similarly unhelpful and needless, and detracts from the real issue at hand here.

No ones biotching. . .yet, but someone will soon enough.

It has already been stated several times that both Geno and Primochill are rather busy moving and re-gearing up production in the U.S.. How much more needs to be said or can be done.

The fact that they are gearing up to fix the problem does not mean they do not have to look after the customers that have suffered because of it. Those things arent cheap, they've made a crapload of money on a poorly made product. IMO they should have already refunded everyone. Terrible customer service, unforgiveable tbh.

Called the Typhoon cos it makes rain in your case?

    LOL..

yes i think its very unprofessional for a vendor to do this to you guys.

You guys paid big money for that res, only for it to be faulty and then the vendor dicks you around for months with a faulty product.

I think its very unprofessional of BOXGOD's to do something like this.

When Bei and I made the P6T blocks and they didnt fit some boards, Bei went though fast RMA's to help the people who couldnt fit there blocks.

Boxgods u guys are bigger then bei, yet your 10x slower.

Primochill at least should get a special RMA group done ASAP.
OR Refund the money they took from ya.

I am on my second and my old leaking one is lying in the rear of my car waiting to be posted to the retailer for an exchange but I refuse to have it exchanged for one that is not made from the new mold.
If BG or Brian do not inform me what's happening and the one in my case fails then I will be refunding both and going elsewhere.
The fact that they are not informing us of anything on this forum does not give me confidence in what their plans are.
Like was said above, when the T3 was being praised BG was on the forums all the time but where is he now?
C'mon BG the holidays are over, WHERE ARE YOU?????????????

Actaully, the T3 has been underfire from day 1 and BG has responded to those. He has also responded to this issue already. It was in a different thread.

Seeing it sounds like the new ones will be ready in a couple of weeks, he is probably trying to get those new ones out instead of responding to all these T3 threads that are popping up now.

There is a fix coming, seeing there is an issue with the old ones, I don't think anyone wants an old one for a replacement. That is probably why it is taking so long to get your replacements. There has also been some issues with getting the molds from the Chinese company, that is why it has taken extra time.

I know Brian seems to have issues with the RMA system on his site. It seems he doesn't respond very fast to them. That is a shame, but if you call him, you should get good service. I know that is a challenge for those on the other side of the pond, but I know I had no problems getting a hold of him when i called him though.

That's great to hear, but I'm not waiting up 'til midnight to make a phone call to sort this out. If an e-mail service is there it should be responded to.

Just get new molds done, since they made a load of money already.

The original mold needs to be replaced, otherwise they are just going to send out more FLAWED res to customers.

    Flaws like this :

Notice the crack/scratch/mold imperfection thing near the fillport

    And this :

More crack/scratch/mold imperfection on the left side and also the bottom screw holes

If they are going to market this product again, I really hope they replace the mold altogether than try to push "it's only a slight imperfection in the mold and it won't affect performance" bull line

How do most of the cracks happen? I haven't plugged my T3 into the casing yet, I'm guessing it cracks due to the vibration + tension of being screwed into the case?

My T3 came straight out of the box with imperfections similar to hchristians, almost in identical spots. I couldn't call them cracks, more like surface imperfections. Although I'm awfully worried now that my new build is going to be put to sleep permanently by my T3, and a new T3 won't fix a shorted out motherboard. Also taking into consideration that I ordered mine from State side (i'm in Australia) and that its probably going to make any type of RMA more difficult than it really needs to be.

Only a matter of time until one of these kills hardware, then there's gonna be a right storm. Should have been a product recall, but I guess that would pretty much bankrupt Primochill.

Either way I see this as the end for this company - crappy plastic ghost fittings that snap, poorly constructed overpriced reservoirs and an absolute lack of any semblance of customer service. These guys seem as bad as the old OCZ of the late 90s! They decided to cheap out and try and make as much money as possible in as little time as possible and now end users are suffering as Primochill refuse to face the consequences of their actions themselves. Disgraceful.

The lack of posts here of late by Boxgods says it all, used the forum for pimping the new res, got lots of people to buy in to it and now scarpered as its all gone belly up. That would be classed as trolling on the for sale forum wouldn't it?

That's too bad because it's the only bay mount for a D5, and it should save on a lot of tubing, fittings, hassle, etc. Just on a practical view, it could have been a great product. I'd jump for a full delrin version anytime.

Finally had some free time to assemble my PC... my T3 is cracked from the get go at one of the screw hole that's supposed to secure the res to the case. Haven't even screw anything in. I just

I noticed the crack when I rechecked it just before assembly. This means without ACTUALLY using it, mine just cracked. Didn't bang it to anything, no water, no nothing... IT JUST CRACKED.

I'm not even going to bother filling it with water, can be seen clearly that the crack goes all the way into the res water chamber.

Now I need to get some replacement components... dunno when I'm going to have some free time for assembly again.... ARRGGGGHHHHH

One of these has killed hardware. But hey, I don't want to biotch.

I'd prefer the refund so that I can just move right along and forget about this primoshat... With the announcement of the 'premium' version, I'm expecting the ABS version to be a cheap reproduction to fill RMAs. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but with no other information...

    Miller,
I bought this thing based partly on the your repeated recommendation so I really don't care for your optimism.

Naekuh is pretty dead on, IMO. Ridiculously unprofessional and probably unforgivable given that this is still such a niche market. It looks like, unless something incredible happens soon, they'll just fall into the same category as thermaltake and aquatung. I'm glad it's not my buissiness.
