that psu is this http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews....d=549&pageid=2
its made by seventeam....not hipro
I think it's made by seventeam too but the link I put show a Hipro-Tech (wich is Hipro5 brand) ST-1200E-AF PSU (1200W) same than Seventeam "Thundering" ST1200E-AF, it's not a Silverstone Decathlon despite it's look like similar... See here : http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=164849, there was even a pdf with specs but site is down

1. With the "commercial PSUs" it's NOT that simple to compare our (hipro-tech) PSU with Seventeam or Silverstone....
Do you know that EVEN IF they are the EXACT SAME inside (builted by Seventeam) HOW MANY DIFFERENCES you can have?....
Examples:
a. BIGGER Mos-Fets with lower RDSon for better efficiency = MORE expensive
b. Coils with specs for 120*C and NOT for 75*C = MORE expensive
c. Capacitors MORE expensive = MORE expensive
d. TOO MANY other changes of the materials used...
So you think that if a company buys from Seventeam 10.000 PSUs, they will use the "expensive" and the more "efficient" parts OR they will get the "regular" ones to avoid paying more money?....
THINK......
2. As for MY monster, I'll be back when is fully ready for benching (VERY soon)....
Problem is that...........THEY ARE TWINS....
TWO of them - made one for a "benching friend" of mine - VERY well known to all of you....

I recently finished the entire thread, learned a lot.
The pics you posted earlier are no longer visible. Could you post them again, so we could at least see the work in progress?
Thanks
