I'm liking my Aquaero that I just got from sidewinders, for like $105, it does so much more (although I wish I could have gotten the VFD one, and a black faceplate... gonna have to paint the stainless steel one till someone in the US stock the black one)

My current fan controller for them is a crappy old PSU that barely has the power to run 3 on full blast.. it has two settings, on and off.

Someone who has the same fans as me?!? There is a nifty way on controlling those fans. You hook all the PWM (brown) to the PWM for the CPU fan on the mobo. Use one (yellow) RPM wire from one fan and then connect the power wires to the PSU (NOT the Header on mobo). Then you just use the BIOS or programs to control the fans. As long as you have a signal to the brown wire for all the fans and one RPM signal going back from one fan everything will be okay.

Exactly the reason why I got the kaze server so when my PC idles, it will run the fans slow and when i start playing or smth, it speeds them up. Luckily I will use med speed fans so the kaze server can still do the job... But Indeed this lamptron would be really awesome if it could also control fan speed according to temp.

I would like the fan controllers to tie into the PWM channels on the Motherboard for the CPU and the GPU. Don't power them, just the tach and control leads and not reguire additional water temp sensors. CPU and GPU's already have the sensors needed for control.

Just add something else to my wish list I guess.

Well I received my Lamptron FC5 fan controller today. Out of the box, looks great. Has the same great sleek looking black aluminum as the case has. Not sure I approve of the white temp sensor wires, but I am not planning on using them anyways. Also not sure why they have the 4 pin connector so short.

Here is some pics of it out of the box. Sorry for the blurry pics.

Currently I am using three of the fan controllers and am using the first temp sensor for my water. I have the Bitspower G 1/4" Temperature Sensor Stop Fitting seen here.

Currently I only have 1 fan connected to each of the three controllers. I am going to switch it over to two fans to each in time. With the controller plugged in, its very solid and the nob's move solid as well. The angle viewing of the screen is not that well. You see the glare more then my previous skythe controller. However, I have only placed it on the blue, green and of coarse red...

Here are a couple pics of the display connected of coarse in red.

I'm so glad that they listened to me when it came to the cosmetic design of that controller... some of their earlier concepts for the FC5 were so full of fail.

    Looking good, triggs75

As my earlier employee said - this is not a fan controller - it is a fan speed adjuster with a temperature readout.

And he was correct - but it's nice looking tho

Just got mine yesterday. Initially I was very impressed with the build quality, but upon closer inspection whoever put it together didn't push the knobs down all the way. (They were all different heights!)

Took 2 seconds to fix, but just saying...

I am pumped about sleeving the wires and hooking it up though! Nice piece of kit!

Pretty nice, yes it is true, is the best of scythe and sunbeam in one controller, but I still want to see a fan controller like this one but with 6 channels not 4. That is why I changed my kaze master for one sunbeam rheobus extreme with 6 channels, and each channel of 30W
