It looks like they finally took my ideas from the storm forum. I told them they should make the HDD cage removable and modular so you can put a extra radiator in the bottom.
I think price on this will be around 150$, close to sniper in terms of quality and features.
Now if they only listen to my idea about to make a removable modular handle to carry the case. Something like the scout, but can be removed. I think the scouts handle is fugly.![]()
Is it just me or is every case now days just a rip from the Antec 900?....or some form of it.....

I'm hoping it will directly replace the CM690, there isn't a great deal of pricing room in UK between the CM690 and HAF-922, unless the CM690 II has greatly improved build quality.

lancool maybe, other ll not even alike
p50 is small version of p60/p80 armorsuite (and p80 was on market before antec 900)
If it still has the same amount of plastic material or more like the first one, im going to pass on this one for personal use.
Im not particular to the exterior style.
I like the painted inside and borrowed ideas but im more concern of how easily the paint scratches inside of it.
I would like to see an inverted format but I don't think that's happening soon.
The first 690 sold very well in retail, it would be funny if this one didn't do as well as the first one.
Work and School, Work and School, oi!
The first one also had a lot of rebates during it's release in the U.S. I remember it was selling for $29.99 at multiple e-tailers after rebate.
I hope this one has some attractive rebates as well.
This case doesn't look bad, and seems to be a decent evolutionary design upgrade, however I'm wondering how quiet it'll be with all those fans in there.

has official support for top 240mm rad, and it looks like the bottom 4 tray bays of the HDD cage is removable allowing that 240mm rad at the bottom too.
extremely interested in how CM have changed that top part of the case

At $99 this should be a huge hit since it has the capability of doing water cooling without modification. I wonder when retailers will have it.

The top part looks great, just the mesh on top instead of fan grill + plastic grill + mesh on the first CM690....
overall much better and very good improvement, now just comes down to the actual price.

$99 for the all out model and $79 for a slightly less feature rich model. The real question is when it will hit the market.

Nice mid-tower case.
I can't think of any high-end case capable of fitting 5x140mm+3x120mm fans (mine has 4x140mm+1x120mm and costs more than 3 times) for awesome air cooling while bringing the noise down.
The only con is that it can't host a 5970 by 0.5".
6x3.5 + 4x5.25 bays are pretty awesome numbers for a sub $100 mid-tower case as well.

Yeah but the main problem is that only the four cages at the bottom can be removed (first two remain fixed), and in most of X58 boards only the 1st and 3rd (or 2nd and 4th) PCI-e are x16 (and only the 1st or 2nd PCi-e are in P55 ones).
You'll need to place it in the 6th or 7th slot. The smart move would have been making removable the first 1/2/3/4 cages, making possible even a 5970 CF@x16/x16 (losing the dual rad at bottom possibility). But then maybe you shouldn't been looking for a cage at this price.
