I just tried my first Xigmatek fan with black sleeve and used black 3-pin MOLEX fan housings from MDPC-X. I suppose result is good and shots below;

it seems like when i put the heatshrink on the PSU end it slid a little bit and you can see the wire showing a little bit, how can i prevent this?

yiannit, you could do layers.. as in: First, heatshrink on both ends where you would want your heatshrink, so yea.. first two small heatshrink pieces, then you pull on whatever sleeving you are using. Then, put on the second layer of Heatshrink. That should do it, and dont pull on it while its still hot, let it settle, and cool down before you do the other end of heatshrink.

I've found that this works for me atleast. As long as i let one of my ends cool down before i do the other end, i get a pretty ok result.

Cheers, this is the first full PSU I've done (just fans and other small bits before).

Waiting for some 4.8mm 2:1 heatshrink for the main 24 pin cable.

Yep

I cut off the power plug and just left the "PSU-Plug" at the cable.
Then I put MDPC-X smallsleeve over the cable and connected the wire to a new power plug

Although I measure the length of heat-shrink tube before cut.
But when completed. It's not beautiful like you.
