The TC has the 10mm plenum on both sides where the SR1 has a 15mm plenum opposite the barb ports and a 6mm plenum on the barb port side...and the TC does have a 40mm core thickness. So you're looking at 34mm core vs. a 40mm core, we'll see what the pressure drop numbers look like later tonight.
any updates skinne, on the sr1?

Hi! Have just started with my first WC build, and waiting my very first radiator in the mail this days, the choice fell on the Hardware Labs's - Black Ice SR1 480. Are unsure if this is performing best in push or pull. Someone who knows? Has gone for 4 * Black Noise Noiseblocker Multiframe S-Series M12-S2 51.2 CFM @ 1250u/min to this. I hope them will transport heat from the water to air and away from the radiator well in push setup with respect to the design of the case i got.
Some who have any affiliations?
Should i selected some lower rpm fans?

skinnee labs - HWLabs SR1 360 Review
Thanks so much for the review.. !!
For very low RPM performance seems ok, but for the price, it seems to be a pretty poor performer.

Very nice, Skinnee!
I'm actually a little excited about this release. Even though performance was a little "boring" (practically the same as every other top rad), it seems they've done everything right with this rad, IMO. I also like how they release it in every known rad size. One or two 560s with very low speed fans in an external setup should be really nice.
alacheesu: yes, you've got it right... it performs on par with other "low speed optimized" or slim radiators. You'll see it when I get the updated triples comparison out, but I need to finish the write-up for the MCR320-Stack first, which I want to get out ASAP as I owe it to Gabe.
One other thing to note, most of the other rad reviews are using the Water Out-Air In calc so its tough to cross compare presently. I've put my work laptop down for the night and am working on the MCR320-Stack, Triple Comparison and updating the previous reviews with the new Water Avg-Air In calcs.
Perfect timing!Trying to make a decision on what rads to buy right now and this certainly helps.
Many thanks for the review skinnee!![]()
Bought me this SR1 480 now. Have some Black Noise Noiseblocker Multiframe S-Series S3 (73CFM) jo pull the warm air out off it whit. Just under 2000rpm I think. Should be fun to see what its good for.

That puzzled me too. Bought one, and indeed it's a genuine HWLabs 140mm sized radiator, with the usual packaging and included bits of hardware. The fins etc. totally fit the specs. Nice piece of radiator there, the core part really looks like the ones of Thermochill and XSPC (i also have those so i can compare visually at least).
So, good for us europeans i guess. Got mine from the 2nd link you posted, serious shop, at least for national customers (no idea if they ship overseas).
