Recently I was mailing OCZ, asking about cryo, and they returned mail in only few minutes, great support they have! They said that no cryo in europe, in my country there is no ss at all, whatever I buy I have to order it from other country

I'am very disappointment from C3 revision, this almost has no effect from performance

idk, i think 4050mhz on air is pretty good for 24/7, i think you had an above average c2 kinda spoil you

    for compare, i ran my be's @:

    940 @ 3.750ghz
    955 @ 3.860ghz
    965 @ 4.0-4.050ghz (still tweaking)

how much voltage do you need for 4050mhz on your c3?

You may be right, with 955 i was on 3,975Mhz 24/7.
But with 965 C3 i believe with 4,2Ghz full stable , i don't understand how CPU with word "A" can be so weak .

sinar, great results, what single stage do you have? What is the best SS out there at the moment? I want to buy one to have air/water/SS cpu comparisons
Its an old Vapochill LS standard unmoded. Nice thing about single stage is install it and benchs. Most important is to make sure socket area is sealed to prevent condensation.

Imo, most C3 cpu will be average 4.7Ghz - 4.8Ghz stable with single stage.

    >5Ghz need a cascade or dice cooling.

This is it with x86 win7 system. I hope with watercooling to archive better results, for example, some 4,2Ghz

Maybe not completely related but I'm not going to create a thread just for this.
Whats the relationship between CPU temp and Core temps in PHII? In OCCT Core is higher than CPU. In Prime95 most of the time CPU is higher. But 2 hours into Blend test Core are higher.
It's never a constant delta, it keeps changing. Why?

Have a 0945 FPMW that I quickly tested.

Its not stable at the same settings as the 0944 APMW that is in my signature.

Ive pulled it from my PC and it will be going into another rig (upgrade for a client).

Dont know if others have result with 0945 FPMW......

With the ASUS boards I've owned, the "CPU" temp refers to the temp-sensor in the CPU socket of the motherboard. "Core" is usually the temp sensor inside the CPU itself.

So far it seems to be pretty good stuff, I am pretty happy with it. I have to run it on some intel stuff also and see what it can do.

I kind of wish I had held off for some of the new Dom GT 2250mhz kits but I needed good RAM baddly. My older Dominator 1600,hz just wasn't cutting it anymore.

This is the kit I purchased, so I can use it on AMD, Core I5/I7 and X58 setups.

You guys are having way to much fun without me.

    This what your chasing cele?

I didn't have to freeze my hiney off outside for this (I like to be toasty during the winter ) and no its not my phase change.....that pulls 5 gig + 1m runs on c3.

As you can see ram timings have little impact here.

I'm not chasing that, I was the first one here to do it, air and water sub 15... I encourage others to enter sub 15s!

I know timings don't matter in 1M, I was testing my memory with different settings, but it looks nice when you see tight timings

It's cool how you test all your chips, maybe one day I will receive more than one chip from AMD just like you, but in the meantime here are my air and water spi 1m and 32m, your 1m is probably water... I have to improve 32m on water, other scores are fine with me...

    air / water 1M

Single channel and instant Prime Blend fail, hardly counts but I did CPU-Z file, it wont validate due as it's an old version (renamed as TXT). The best I could get stable was ~1850MHz CPU was C3 PhII 0945.
