    HIS Radeon HD5970 on water - 30k 3DMark Vantage

Today I tested new catalyst 9.12 with single 5970 card on water and got 30k 3dmark vantage score. Benching 5970 is just hunting for good runs. Sometimes result may be too low or high. Not sure what to detect which run is good if you not see any artifacts, freezes, black screens, etc...

    HIS Radeon HD5970

First run with both CPU and GPU on water

    3DMark Vantage - 30257

Next run with CPU LN2 cooled and GPU on water

    3DMark Vantage - 30913

+380MHz on CPU gives only +650 points

    3DMark03 - 148646

    3DMark05 - 44943

    3DMark06 - 35443

Also tried LN2 on 5970 few days ago, but no luck... card was very unstable with subzero temps.

Can run ATITool artifact free with 1200MHz GPU clock and 1.55V-1.65V Vgpu (OCP-mods done), but any 3dmark crashes even with 1100MHz

Yes, 9.12 is definitely faster and more stable than 9.11 and 9.12 beta, but don't expect miracles.

Thanks. I put small zalman heatsinks on VRM and 92-mm Tt fan. As you can see on screens VRM temps was around +45c in idle with water cooled card.
