I hope to achieve 4GHz on 24/7 use but right now i am somehow stuck at 3751MHz. Tried 3.8GHz, longest running stable on Orthos is 2hrs and system will reboot.

hey sam. thanks for the advice. still bumping up vcore? always thought 45nm processor not supposed to go above 1.4v.

i think 1.4 is ok many have gone way higher for 24/7
just dont go over 1.6v for cpu pll i degraded my e6850 with 1.7v
just keep your temps low
but still its only a e7500 so cheap to replace go for 4.2+ lol


on another note guys this ic7 diamond paste kickin ass dropped my load temps by 4-6c

anyway. i managed to hit 3.8 right now reduce VTT to 1.30 but add 187.5mV to vcore...which i think is a bit too much for a 3.8!

whats real voltage
to be honest i wouldnt be scared to pump 1.45v in that lol
my e8600 only needs 1.32v on load for 4.5 i'd pump in 1.4v if it needed it

Too right give it what it needs, these chips are a lot more robust and Vcore tolerent than a lot of peeps would lead you to believe.

exactly how i feelthe only chip i ever killed was a mobile p4 got it to 4.0 wife used that cpu for 6 months

I just got my DFI lanparty T2RS P45 board.. How do I set the cpu fan to be manually controlled? And how do I make it show up in speedfan?
This worked perfectly with my former motherboard.

Does annyone know's what max safe voltage is for P45 Chip?? cauze if i google i find lots of stuff but all diffrent vallue's. some people say you need more NB voltage aswell when you use X-Fire or extra ram so what's the max safe voltage for p45 chip :P?

even at 1.5 i didnt hit 50 lol

hi, i don't know if this has been asked, but i'm considering grabbing a quick T2RS Elite dk p45 just because I miss DFI after giving away my T2RSB Plus...and the reliable boot-ups (especially now that I'm on Gigabyte), so the question is....
is the PLUS version totally warranted for bring a Q9550 to 4.0 ghz and above
or could I get away with the T2RS elite...
I have Gigabytes LOWEST-end p45 OC'er's board and even it can do 510 fsb given the proper tuning (the UD3L)

Do I even stand a chance with a DK t2RS Elite??? - Cause I did notice the Blood Iron version of the Elite P45 is whipping some serious ass in the reviews.....

Think the DK version may be blessed with the same potential given the right settings or doI need the PLUS version for sure.....cause the prices have sure come down.....
