    Hello.

I am wondering if it's actually possible to control the fan speed using the motherboard tools.
Delta AFB 1212HHE fans, 3 pin connectors.
My old Asus board used to have an option so I could pick a way to control the fan speed (PWM / Voltage / Auto), EVGA x58 Classified doesn't seem to have one... And manually adjusting the fan speed using the BIOS or Speedfan doesn't work... Assuming it's trying a PWM adjustment and since fans are 3 pin, it fails.
Is there any way to control the voltage the fans are being powered with to control their fan speed via software or BIOS?
And yeah, I know I could just buy a fan controller.

And one more thing... When I connect the fan to the CPU fan header, it spins at 3k RPM (max), but if I connect the similar fan to the Power fan header, it spins at 2k. How come?

    Thanks in advance!
