Here's my second 965 C3, 0942FPMW.


Max stable clocks for this one with Noctua NH-D14 are 4080MHz and for NB 2870MHz.
This one overclocks about the same as my 0933FPMW but NB is weaker than 0933.

With a little bit more cold, 5Ghz+ and NB @3.5G is possible with this 0944FPMW

I have the same, but on my m3a78-t i need vcore 1.55 for 3.8 on air.
but vdrops of .05 under load so maybe its my mobo.

Had some Dominator 2000MHz at 1900MHz on one of these, in single channel, can't get it higher. Seems like the memory side has improved as I used to get problems with 1600MHz on the older chips.

Hi guys. My CPU is stable at 4GHz and can do about 4.2 with high voltage, but unacceptable for 24/7. What's the chance if I take one "random" 965 C3 it will make 4.2 full stable for 24/7 with 1.55V? The thing is that i can't go handpick the cpu and if I order one I should have big luck to get a good overclocker.

Yours 0086, mine is 0286. This particular batch seems to like Voltages. By mistake I jolted 1.74Vcore (@bios) because this M4A79T tend to overvoltage @ >1.675 and up.

Give this cpu cold and it will scales up high

Its (0942FPMW) very simillar as 0942EPMW think...0933 is maybe the best to time (or 0944?), + 100 MHz diference

No, my previous chips were D9GTR, Super Talent Project X 1800 C7 2.0V, they were able to reach 1720MHz 6-6-6-18 1T or 1500MHz 5-5-5-15 1T (2.2v)... These are Corsair Dominator GT 1866 C7 i7 kit 3x2GB 1.65V but I'm using only two sticks

was wondering about ocz cyro but it is in US and using volt 120. however it is expensive to ship since it is heavy. I want to add question: what is good SS, available in Europe?
