I have a 1.02 board and upgraded from 6600 to 8500 a while back. It runs much cooler and a bit faster (bigger caches) but doesn't really overclock any better. I run the CPU at auto voltage because the 1.02 apparently doesn't have credible CPU voltage adjustment (see earlier posts in this thread).
