    ATI Catalyst 9.12 for Vista / 7

Finnaly we can all enjoy the official 9.12 release. From what I can see, the performance boost is significant. I am curious how multi-card performance has impproved.

    ATI Catalyst 9.12

Sorry for the low speed with US and Asia, this is Eastern European hosting, which works great here, but not so good outside

I really hope these work better than the 9.12 Betas. Those saw very few (if any) performance increases and didn't help one bit with the massive issues people have been having in Saboteur.

Terry Makedon's twitter mentions the official release is scheduled for tomorrow for any of those who'd rather wait a day than use a random url here.

I'm very happy with my "random" url, thanks

While some are waiting, others are having fun. From what loc-o reported so far, the performance gain is indeed interesting.

google the issue "driver has stopped responding" and you will find alot of people with cards from 2900 to 5xx0 all having the card randomly crash, but recovers after a screen flicker. which currently is being looked at pointing the blame on microsoft.

    Nice fps boost.
I will probably install them tomorrow, though, no time today... Hope there are gonna be no issues.

Yep, i can't anywhere with the old drivers. Was going to wait for these and if it happened again, do the old "un-install everything until it works" fix

Well at least I know it's not just me now

it was supposedly related to a simple spike in FPS and windows interpreted it as a crash and would restart the drivers. it was non stop for me on 9.9 and 9.11 helped alot. hopefully they fixed it. hundreds of RMAs were caused by this issue

Can someone upload them to a hosting site? Sapphire is slow as , lab501 is even worse and full of ads (even in the filename) on top of that.

These drivers are awesome I got over 2k more in Vantage with these while using the same clock speeds:

    9.11 hot fix drivers, CPU @ 4.3Ghz, HD5870's @ 1100/5400, 8800GS at 750/1880/2000

    9.12 drivers, CPU @ 4.3Ghz, HD5870's @ 1100/5400, 8800GS @ 750/1880/2000

And as for games I'm seeing on average anywhere from a 15 - 20 frames more per second in Dirt 2, Crysis, and Farcry 2. These drivers are definitely keepers

Yes, for Europe is slow, even less than 1KB/s. The site doesn't even load.

http: // lab501.ro/downloads/catalyst_9.12_lab501.ro.zip. You link to your own site, with ads, like everyone these days in the news section. We know you want clicks, really. Also you're not the original source, right? Knowing all this, why do you ask what ads?
