Exactly what I was thinking. I wonder how the lighting looks with the sleeving over it.

Hey guys needs some help here...I decided to get some PSU cable extensions and work on some sleeving on them, rather than kill the warranty on my PSU. I plan to do the 8pin mobo, 24 pin mobo and 2 6/8 pin pcie cables...

    1. What size of sleeve 4mm/6mm???
    2. Size of heatshrink
    3. How much would I need to order?

I am getting my stuff from chilled pc as shipping to India is very cheap and the quality looks nice.

Can anyone tell me how I might slip either the sleeve over this molex connection and or take it apart and put it back into a regular molex plug with heat shrink on it?

If I cut the cable and just strip the wire, should I be able to put it back into another molex?

Has anyone successfully sleeved a dual USB internal cable? I can't seem to find a tool that can remove the usb wires from the adapter itself...

Edit: Nevermind. Apparently in my order of the MDPC-X Sleeve I got a sample of the SATA cabling (I think). Well it worked. It was rough, but I got it to fit over it... :-)
