@Movieman : Right on Dave, like I said in one of my now deleted posts : it's better to team up with a software hacker than with another overclocker to jield top scores... far easier to do and less expensive on hardware.... Tweaking the OS is allowed to me, changing stuff or even completely rewriting code(s) in the benchmark itself is not considered tweaking to me... but that varies from member to member here it seems... Another very sad evolution in the overclocking world this year, let's hope 2010 is more sportsmanship orientated...
Then push the people at HWBot to include the rules you guys want so all are equal.
I know for me when I run a benchmark I shut down any open apps and just run it..No tweaks, no fiddling around,etc..
That makes what I show reproducable by someone with the same hardware.
Maybe I don't get the max points but it's an honest representation of the hardware and isn't that what benchmarks are supposed to be?
There is also the side benefit that when I show a benchmark there are no questions on it. No one accuses me of any games,etc..
That is more important to me than any points or fleeting glory and it should be that way to everyone.
