For me it hangs whenever I either:
Launch a game (especially Resident Evil 5, GRID & FallOut3); or
Upon closing a game, when it's going back to the Windows Desktop (Win 7 x64).

i´m on 1.8b3 and haven´t had any ht link issues running 211mhz x18.5 cpu and x13 nb.
i never flashed any of the official bios releases, so i can´t tell if the 1.7 definetly is bugged.

Reverted back to 1.6 and no sign of sync flood errors.
Tonnes of GPU driver related errors mind you... but not a peep from the mobo. ;-)

I've been having a proper play with my 955 on this board, but cannot seem to get it prime stable @ 4ghz, have tried 1.55v and my temps all seem in order as they should with my watercooling, it just seems to crash. Not sure if I should push more volts?

What happens during the Prime run? Prime errors or total system crash?
Did you try upping the CPU-NB voltage and setting the memory voltage to 1.65v in the bios?

Anyone else have problems clocking their NB with this board and a 955/965? I think it's a board bug and not a chip issue.

I am able to run 2600 NB @ 1.1v both prime and vantage stable. I can't hit 2800 for the life of me. I can get it to boot into Windows with NB 2800 but it needs a little more voltage. The problem is, if I set my cpu-nb vdd higher than 1.25v it refuses to post and I have to clear the cmos and restart. I'm good all the way up to 1.25v and than I get nothing. I also have to use the CPU-NB VDD and CPU-NB Volts settings. If I use just CPU-NB VDD it refuses to post. I also can't set my offset higher than like .03v. Right now I'm running the cpu-nb vdd @ 1.25 and cpu-nb volts @ 1.28. If I go to 1.29 It won't post.

I don't understand It has me really frustrated. If anyone can give me some insight it would be greatly appreciated.

I get a total system crash and it then reboots, I'll try disabling the reboot on system error and up the nb volts a tad more. I've put my ram up to 1.6v which is the auto settings according to the board, but the sticks are rated at 1.5v Will test to see if the added volts equals stability. My chip has always seemed to be a bit week on the NB clocks though

I've found the original 1.0 or 1.1 BIOS to be the most stable. I've tried most of them up until 1.5x and they ddn't seem to be as stable. I plan on trying 1.6-1.7 soon.

    Hey guys

Just got this board with an Athlon x2 250 and 4Gb of Crucial balistix DDR3 1333Mhz @ 6-6-6-20 with 1.8v

Now I've come from an Intel chipset and I'm struggling with this board and memory.

    Any tips/suggestions?

Im trying to get 3.9 stable 2750 nb, 1633 cas 6, but cant get it. I can get pretty decent clocks, for benching, but cant get what i want 24/7 stable, im coming from a gigabyte board, alot more settings in this bios. Trying to get a feel for this board. Some reason cpuz wont read my cpu correctly, it reads the memory, but not cpu.

Is it just me or does this board have no vdrop ot Vdroop at all?

I have the same Vcore in windows as I set in BIOS and according to CPUZ and HWMonitor it doesn't drop under load either.
