Bump...
Any update on allowing HT Multi adjustment? How about fixing the FSB revering to 200MHz when in S3 sleep mode?
What about the Phenom II X4 965 and newer Athlon II X4's, when will those get a BIOS revision to support them?
Edit: Just found out Smart Fan doesn't appear to be functional on the Destroyer either. No matter what the values are set to, the CPU fan speed never changes.

Seriously? No new CPU support for the destroyer ever? That seems odd for a still "supported" motherboard consisting of "the latest AMD technologies", as stated on the Quantum Force products page.
False advertising if it doesn't support the latest AMD processors, no? Is it really that hard to get an updated CPU table so the motherboard will recognize these newer CPU's properly?
That's from the product page. It states 16GB of RAM is supported...however my motherboard manual says 8GB. Who's correct here? Will 4x 4GB sticks work?Originally Posted by Foxconn
That worked, thanks.

imo.
foxconn should give us bios which will have support for new cpus. It don't have to have good oc, just support for new technologies.
I agree. If they're going to refuse to let us adjust the Northbridge Multi, at least give us the ability to use newer CPUs with unlocked core multipliers so we can get around the issue.
For myself I lost my patience, Foxconn has lost a costumer ... I go back to Asus ...
The new MSI 980a board looks good. I might have one for a build soon. I had the Asus 980a. Was a nice stable board.

guys could tell me is there any place where I can send email with request for last bios ?
This is actually the second time in a row Foxconn has screwed me.
The first time was with the C51XEM2AA motherboard, they never updated the BIOS to handle Phenom's (but at least every function of the motherboard worked how it was supposed to!). They claimed the chipset couldn't support it, while other motherboards with the same chipset eventually ended up with BIOS updates to allow newer quad core CPUs.
Now this with the Destroyer...
Come on Foxconn. Update the CPU table and fix the FSB resetting in S3 mode at the very least. A fixed northbridge multiplier adjustment would be icing on the cake.
As it is, Foxconn has destroyed my upgrade path. I was planning to get an AM3 chip now and upgrade out of the Destroyer to an AM3 motherboard later, but Foxconn hasn't added support for the AM3 CPU I want to use!

where is Lord Trident now ?
as far I remember he said there will be one last bios.
wish list:
-support new cpus (965 c3, athlons x2/x3/x4)
-adjustment of multiplier
-resetting HTT in S3 mode
three things, last three. Foxconn give this motherboard last breath.
I've just discovered a massive problem. There appears to be no way to enable AMD-V on the Destroyer!
Am I missing the option in the BIOS or what? I don't see it anywhere
Edit: Yup, looks like there's no way to enable a standard AMD processor feature, AMD-V, on the Destroyer. Foxconn is headed for a class action lawsuit if they don't correct this issue.

There's a simple explanation for this: the capacity of the bioschip was insufficient. The first time was with the C51XEM2AA motherboard, they never updated the BIOS to handle Phenom's (but at least every function of the motherboard worked how it was supposed to!)
I've heard that excuse before. Some other motherboards with the Nforce 590 SLI chipset and the same size BIOS chip managed to get Phenom support. I believe they removed backwards compatibility with older CPUs to make room (making it difficult to go back to an Athlon X2), but they managed to do it.
My current concerns, however, rest with the Destroyer. The recent discovery that Destroyer lacks the ability to turn on AMD-V (hardware virtualization) is a huge problem. You can't even use Windows XP Mode on Windows 7 without it.
Even my old C51XEM2AA had the option to turn AMD-V on. Why is it missing on the Destroyer?
I would like to point out, yet again, that Foxconn's claim of this motherboard supporting "the latest AMD technologies" on the product page is a blatant lie. We're missing AMD-V, we're missing proper S3 sleep, we're missing support for the latest AMD CPUs.
I'm tired of being left to sit and wait; I'll be contacting the Better Business Beuro if there isn't a response directly from Foxconn on the status of the Destroyer within the next business day.

Better Business Beuro has been contacted. Foxconn should expect to hear from them within the next three business days.
gl!![]()
Formal complaints have now been filed with the Better Business Bureau (for Foxconn's American branch), as well as econsumer.gov (for their headquarters in China). Physical letters (as well as the same text in email form) have been sent to AMD and Nvidia headquarters informing them of these issues with their partner.
Foxconn is in for some seriously bad PR if they ignore us after all this...
I hope this will have positive answer![]()
Still no response from Foxconn...I'm beginning to get the impression that they're actively ignoring us at this point.
I've tried to get in contact with someone high-level over the phone, but I've had no success as of yet.![]()
i think two weeks is enough for waiting for response. So I am able to wait couple more days.

Still no response back. Class action here we come.
Two weeks later, still nothing. My support ticket with their online system remains unanswered, and the couple of attempts I've made to get phone support have failed.
So much for support. I'll never buy a foxconn motherboard again after this.
I suppose it's time to start looking for alternative motherboards that are equivalent, feature wise, to the Destroyer. Top contenders are the MSI NF980-G65 (for DDR3) and the ASUS M4N82 Deluxe (for DDR2).
I will sell my mb and buy something on 790GX, maybe biostar.
I love nforce but it's time for change.

did anyone try ctrl F1-f4 sometimes hidden options aren't shown? (asus, gigabyte trick)
i'll be putting my 940 in it anyways.
