First boot straight 262FSB: http://ceemic.pri.ee/amd/262fsb.JPG
And with higher NB: http://ceemic.pri.ee/amd/252fsb.JPG
2 days ago I tried my rig with LN2 and I couldn't pass 213FSB.

It can go higher than that ceemic
I can boot 300MHz HTT easily![]()
250FSB is enough for me
That didn't help lot in today:

Crazy stuff happening on Gigabyte 790FX-UD5P + G. Skill Ripjaws red 1600Mhz rated C9-9-9 24 1.5V
First of all, where did you guys noticed vmem droop on this mobo? Actually it overvoltage mine ram. Set 1.7V and u get 1.75V in DMM, 1.75 and I got an 1.81V!
About the RAM:
No way to get it stable working on Cas7 using 1333Mhz divider but what about Cas6 @ 1600Mhz when using 1066Mhz divider?
Even in this setting there is no way to match TRCD and TRP w/ the CAS there must be an 9 in TRCD to pass 1500Mhz, and unless an 7 for TRP.
Stability Gains can be observed when using higher voltage, anyway I only tested till 1.85V in bios wich actually gave me 1.90V (DMM). thats the only way to get it stable @1600Mhz 6-9-7. By the way I can use 1.75V and get 1600@ 6-9-8 1T.
Any hint of wich chips are them? I've paid like US$135 for 2x 2GB of them. Already in Brasil.

So i have read this ENTIRE thread, all i have to say is Chew, ur a very patient person with ppl, lol, anyway ty guys good read, BUT i am still left with this question....what damn ram should i buy (answer would have been hypers im assuming, not so much anymore because of all the deaths) so what sticks should i get for 2x2gb, i want to run the best timings i can (who doesn't lol) should i go for a 1600 7-7-7-23 kit or a 7-x-7-24 kit at 1.65 or lower, or should i go for a 2000 mhz kit at 8-8-8-xx or 9-9-9-xx at 1.65 or lower, seems most tests r on I7's....

Chew is a great and paticent guy thats for sure. I would get Corsair GTS 2000 cas 8 4gig kit, about $210 they will do 1600 cas 6, there low voltage 1.65, or you cant Micron GTR, GTS they will run on 1.9 2.0 volts, good for benching, but not for 24/7, thats what i have learned from guys here and this thread.
I have a kit of OCZ 1866 cas 7 and they do 1600 cas 6 is a cake walk, but i want 1733 cas 6, im getting memory errors, so will keep testing them, and there hypers. Hope that helps you.

Is the Tmpin2 reading on AMD Overdrive closer to reality for the 955 CPU temp than the CORE cpu readings?
I hate that all cores read the same temp which I assume is completely stupid and impossible.
*CPU: Xeon X5650 @ 4.3 Ghz | Cooler: Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme
*Asus Rampage III Formula | RAM: 36GB DDR3 (Tracer LED + Hyper X Savage)
*Video Cards: Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti

*Case: CoolerMaster HAF X (932 side panel) | Others: Roccat Kone AIMO | Roccat Alumic | Logitech G15 |Cameras: Sony A7R3 | RX100 V
i was also wondering how all cores read the same temp (even my duel core @100% load shows temp fluctuations between them but they always avg about the same temps in the end, core 2 does run a little bit hotter), But i don't think i have EVER seen an AOD screen on idle or on load where the cores r at diff temps even by 1 deg, anyone else but me and Shaolin95 think this odd? or r the cores just loaded that evenly? one would think one core would still b hotter then another due to heatsink mounts and tim applications varying, or does each core not have its own probe? and it just reads the temp from one core and outputs that as all 4?

Doesn't matter of which program you use. Run Everest and you'll see the same = all cores at same temperature. That's because of one temp sensor in AMD CPUs which is placed in the middle of the cores and it read only one temperature. Programs are there just to read what the sensor "say".
Kind of lame I guess when you are trying to make sure your TIM and Heatsink setup is done right.
Oh well, guys do you know how much voltage is safe for a 955 on AIR.
Due to my air duct and my extreme Noctua NH-D14 (SanAce + Scythe + Delta) I get about 43-45C load temps...just wondering how far I can go.

Looks like 2 of my DIMM slots died. 2 & 4. I tested all the slots with 3 different kits. I can run one or two dimms in 1&3 but nothing in 2 or 4. Anyone run into this issue? PSU? Board RMA time?
