    LCD response times

I remember reading about and being told by people here that the stated response times on LCD's that say they are 2, 5 or 8ms is not true, but infact can be higher like 20ms.

The reason was is that they not timing it to change for black to white and back to black but use black to grey I think?

I can't find my old links about this so having a hard time looking it up.

    Can anyone help?

most of them try to use G2G as the response time.

Remember not just Response time is important, input lag is also a factor.

Pixel response times arent a huge issue these days but display latency is (due to scalers).

All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.
