hello and thanks for trying to help me hiwa, Im using the pc now with ocz 1600 6GB kit, and even this cheaper ram can go up to 1900 (not stable but it runs). I still cant get the G.Skill kit to even post at 1900, tried with 1.75v with 1.55v QPI & 1.5v NB. I have tried each stick by itself and they all run the same nothing stands out, I hope its not the cpu or motherboard but i dont think it is. I do have a new i7 920 coming hopefully before the weekend so i will also try it too.
    Rampage II extreme
    i7 920
    ocz pc12800C7 6GB
    Corsair HX1000 psu.

thanks man.. i spend a bit of time with this kit today and reach the following for pi32m clocks

    8-9-8-24 1100mhz 1.65v trfc 88, 59,61,64 (2:12)

    6-7-6-21 875mhz 1.65v

    7-8-7-21 1000mhz 1.65 (2:10)

quite reasonable i think, and the cas8 is definatly walled by my uncore at 4400 on air...

Hehe. Exactly same clocks I acheived in my short test. Too bad, my kit is not scaling well over 1100MHz.

These are good kits for sure.
You are as good as your samples are!

they do scale a bit with vdimm 1070mhz c7 seems okay for 3d at 1.80v real... seem like very solid 3d sticks to me

finally was able to get into windows once i tried a new cpu(920 D0) but only if using a single module and now the rampage II extreme seems to be stuck in single channel mode for ever? is this even possible! ANYWAY.... have a evga classified coming to me now, and a rampage II Gene, will try with them but i'd say even this new cpu still cant do around or over 4GHz uclk.

may as well be your cpu, very few % of 1366 chips can handle 2133memfreq on air

I just have it set at stock using the XMP I have tried raising some of the voltages on QPI and a few other things, I have the DRAM Voltage at 1.64 for some reason the P6T Deluxe from Asus will not do 1.65, its up or down from there. Gskill Customer support sent me some lame thing to try and my system wouldnt even post, I am not using AIR per say, I am using the Corsair H50 for Cooling and my CPU is an Extreme 965

if u are using 920 it's 99.99% impossible keep you memories @ 2133 means 4266 uncore, for normal benching and test the best 920 D0 imc needs 1.40 VTT
this not memory problem it's your cpu and cooling can't handle 2133

apparently I need to make it Perfectly CLEAR, I am NOT using a 920, I am using an EXTREME 965 Retail Boxed Processor.

    try XMP profile
low Bclk if ur 965 XE can handle it on air
i really never see a I7 @ 42XX uncore in daily use and aircooling

Yeah for greater than >DDR3-1866mhz mem speeds CPU VTT will need to be pushed beyond 1.4v volts even up to 1.5-1.65v depending on cpu memory controller quality

One of the best characteristics on DDR3-2000-2133Mhz 1.65v capable memory ics like elpida bbse and hyper is they also run tight 6-7-6-x timings around DDR3-1600-1800mhz speeds, so for 24/7 probably better of with that as an alternative for locked cpu multi cpus. But unlocked cpus, low bclk helps... Just playing around with my first ever nehalem based unlocked multi cpu and it's fun but still need high CPU VTT for high mem clocks even just for benching let alone 24/7!

CPU VTT on Asus is QPI/DRAM voltage. Also how high you can clock uncore frequency depends on cpu cooling so sub zero cpu temps can usually clock memory higher too.

i suggest you to try 1600/1800 with lower possible CL with unlink uncore , your memories use BBSE DJ-f
