You should try the seach button.. At given time their has been many threads about this subject -
but yes It should be completly safe.. anything above 3.4V is (rated) to much for 24/7
"M-I-A"
thanks for the answer - and pardon me for beeing lazy ...
guess u are absolutly right ...
should have searched for it !
I thought 3.6v was what winbond rated as max safe volts?
Maybe, but I wouldn't run my memory 24/7 with 3.6V.
3.2V should be OK, place a fan over the memory, so it stays cool.
I thought 160nm BH-5 could take 3.6V at max 24/7?
It should be safe 24/7, I'd be more worried about the voltage controllerAnd if the mems do get hot, try cooling them with a fan @ 7V?
Hell, I ran Jupiler's memory at 3.55V for about a month 24/7 and it didn't complainbut shhht, don't tell him

3.6 volts is for the Bh-5 for the northbridge, memcontroller and whatnot it's a whole new story. But i guess 3.2~3.3 should be no trouble. Otherwise trust the RMA, it's your friend you know.

On the winbond site there was a document on BH-5 with voltageparameters 2.5-3.6
