Very impressive though not surprising with it's massive size and surface area. I'm surprised that the H50 performs so well with 2 quiet fans tho. I wonder how they compare at higher heat levels though that's where the IFX-14 should shine and the H50 and other such coolers collapse.

I would think those extreme air overclocking levels are where the IFX-14, this cooler and the new Iceage 120 Boss 2 (5 8mm HDT heatpipes) would be used.

Hmmm, no way it's gonna fit on my Classified it seems.
2 degrees over Megahalems aren't worth 90 USD anyway, though.
But this is definitely a cooler to get if you want top notch performance it seems.

I'm surprised by the really poor performance of the TRUE in that test. Can that be correct?

You got a load-temp (Prime or something) with ~1,3v?

    It's delta T.

But I wonder how on earth the TRUE got such bad scores here.

Oh, I saw those temp around 35'C ...and it looked like idle temp. Excuse my German (or what language it is), but now I see those are delta at load.

    EDIT:
But I still would like to see load-temp with ~1.3v.

Based upon your post one may assume that you're paying $90.00 MORE than the cost of Megahalems. I'm not sure the current cost of either but I'm sure this cooler is more than worth it to many.

There is not much point to switch from Megahalems is my point. If you have a cooler already.

Im more intrested in the noise factor. This cooler seems to be like it would be a louder cooler, not to mention its footprint. I still think a megahalem has a beter size/noise ratio to cooling. This a monter of a cooler, and as ac/dc would put it "ball breaker, board cracker"

EDIT: Also intrested in performance while overclocked, the mini review was done at modest settings, but definately a nice cooler. Wheres the black edition with black and purple fans?

Agreed... but don't think it would fit... at least with an exhaust fan at the back of a case. Wasn't it something like 3 or 4 cm or clearance?

Solution: P12 - P14 - P12, and an exhaust P12 on the outside of the case!

3 fans would still be epic.

iirc there was a manufacturing problem, hence the massive shortage, and they should be ramping up again this month =) so in december i guess (4/5 weeks to ship etc) we will be seeing them again

Hey Tommy, nice tests. Thanks for them.

Now I´m waiting for NF-P12 + NF-P14 FLX fan to see some results!
Oh and, your TRUE is so bad But being rev A that´s kind of normal.
    Thanks

Oh, BTW. Do you have this pic @ high res? (1920x1200 or more)
That would be a nice wallpaper
