Win7 - Windows Media Player Window Size

Under Vista and XP I had WMP set to load maximized by default, but I cannot for the life of me get Win7 to do the same.

I've changed the application shortcut to 'run maximized', but if I double click on a video file, it loads up sizing the window to the video instead.

    Any ideas?

What about right clicking the video while it's playing in WMP and selecting 200% or maximized (not exactly sure, since I'm not at home...just an idea)

It works, but when I open another video file, it reverts to the non-maximized window size.

Win7 Windows Media Player Window Size

If I want to use RealPlayer or Windows Media Player to play video streams, do I just need to save the file in RealPlayer or Windows Media Player format, or do I need some sort of a special video stream?
