    Very nice!

New toys always fun. Well as long as no RMAs are involved....

Scott... one word for you: BSEL-Mod.

Seriously, 3,8Ghz/400 FSB would boost the PPD of that rig immensely (I'd project around 38k for 400*9) - if your CPUs are E0 they can do that easily (my X5450's can do 4,05Ghz on stock 1,25V).

Try with SetFSB how high you can go stable (I bet 410-420) and then do the mod (or just use SetFSB)

I figured I should do a little thread resurrecting. Here was my computer, I had to put it back in the case because the cats were trying to attack it.

Thanks! I was just bored one night and wanted to make my computer set up a bit cleaner. So I routed the cables under the mobo box and put the hard drive in the box with an old intel fan on it.

I'd suggest upgrading to duct tape to go with your zip tie !

I like cutting holes in the mobo platform to stash all of the cables, etc in.

I used tape + zip tie's because the crappy fan clips didn't work.

    my basement watercooling setup :

    basically , a large barrel (125 liter) , Alphacool AP1500 pump, dual radiator .

The pump delivers the water to the 1st floor (about 6m high) .
To start , I feed the pump 24v for 20-30 seconds. Once running , 12v is enough. (~30w powerconsumption).

The waterloop works pretty good , shame I'm not using it at the moment
I need another X58 board urgently.
