    Ah, I seem to have put myself in an awkward situation right there, my apologies.

    Sharp image you have there, would be nice if you could get the focus on the eyes though. However, I saw your comment about the dog not looking at you very often on Flickr, so it's not bad.

    That last one is my favorite, I love the multiple layers that you've captured. The crowd in the foreground, the mountains in the background, the plane in the sky, and the red in the middle. I'd love to see it a little bigger.

    Interesting subject, I'd recommend that you correct the white balance a little though, really easy to do. As it is, it's quite yellow.

    Elisha, what lens are you using for this one? The kit lens?

    Here's mine for today, another self portrait that I took yesterday.

    Model = Nikon D90
    Lens = Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G
    Exposure Time = 1/40"
    F Number = F2.5
    ISO Speed Ratings = 400
    Exposure Bias Value = -0.67EV
    Light Source = unknown
    Flash = Off
    Focal Length = 35mm
    Self-proclaimed and convincing.

    Ah, the benefits of being single.

    It can get a little lonely but at least I don't have to explain why I went out and bought another lens when I CLEARLY didn't have anything for the 50-55mm range.

    It's really easy to do, if you don't own a photo editing software you can head to www.picnik.com. Upload you picture, and you can now either press "Auto Fix" which doesn't always give the best results or press "Colors" and then pull the "Temperature" slider to the left of right, depending if you want it colder or warmer. In your case, I'd pull it left to around 50 or so.

    My cousin has that lens so I really don't need to buy it. Just need the time to drive over and borrow it. He rarely uses his XSi.
    I'm planning on getting the EF 35mm f/2 next month from a buddy who still has his Canon lenses after he moved to Sony.

    That can't be 250mm FL, unless you're way up in a tree.

    From a recent storm over here, power was out, so why not take a walk in the rain? Canon "weather-sealing" performed admirably.
