These things run cooler than all my Bloomfields at comparable frequencies. Like 50C prime @ 4Ghz on water. TDP won't be a problem

my 3.07GHz sample can run 4.4GHz prime @ 45-50°C CoreTemp on water, they´re really cool

But XEs have 130W TDP, also the 3.07GHz sample what i have. 2.4 and 2.53GHz Xeon´s have 95W TDP.

dont forget, its sixcore+HTT, not quadcore. TDP about 130W is very real for 3 GHZ Gulf (of course, for OC gurus and users is not problem TDP, if my CPU will good 200W its OK , but for consumers...? They want good CPU, and lowend PSU 350W etc .)

I believe i read somwhere that Gulftown has the same power consumption as Bloomfield. I know that it has 2 more cores, but it shrinked to 32nm.
