    Well, that's exactly the point, IMO. Because AFAIK, Lucid Hydra uses no more and no less than 16 pcie lanes to communicate with the system, even if it then uses 16 lanes to communicate with each card. So it wouldn't make any difference between using it on a P55 platform and a X58 platform regarding pcie bandwidth...

    So 3 cards can run fine without capping bandwith?

    Dunno . But if pcie bandwidth would bottleneck the cards, then it would the same in a X58 board because everything would have to pass through the 16x lanes of the Lucid Hydra the same way than in a P55.
