Huh 5870 costs $349 and 5870 x2 is suppose to cost $500-$600 means one can save $100 and electricity instead of 5870 Crossfire. Why did i buy a 6800 GT instead of a 6600 GT??? You have opened my eyes My stupid new 19 inch 1080P deserves a 6200 so that i can play amm Quake 3 "1080P" on it

lol oh sry your so right about the dates it said ATI2-3monthsAMD...wait let me run out and get vista+ A 400DOLLAR card to get the whole game and its dx11 glory and just wait till those games come out wait by then knowing ati and its deprecation the card will be worth only 300DOLLAR

first off ayone who has run out and gets a few 5870's does it cus there crasy gamers or benchmarkers and need to have the lastest and greatest to keep up with the jones's(that dont make you a bad guy btw),maybe the 3x 4890's they had before were too running slow..nah

as for the 58x2 being cheaper that only means that its slower than 5870 in cf,maybe clock speeds or something idk or care about it,what wont a 295 or 48x2 run?thats why you need dx11 or phx to sell with.

i really think you bought a 68gt because you could not afford an ultra and was just as good
i was broke back then so i ran 68 nu in sli,it beat my ultra np,but i was only playing m.o.h AA,you know thats when most people were clueless on if the game was gpu or cpu dependant although things were pure for gaming then not selling out left and right like today come on some games have ads in them.
as for now with little es worried about getting every frame for crysis and fc2 upgradeing for a crappy games like most of the dx11 games we be, its feeding right into there hands
hell if they came out with a game that really sufferd from:it sucked on playablity,low frames on top end gear,badly coded/loaded with bugs then dropping support for it! BUT if it looked great like a frecking picture it would sell cus all the punk ass es would hypit it up like the second coming,to the point that even people who should know better are taking for a ride.

Morrowind when modded can bring my GTX280 to it's knees, same with Oblivion, FO3, Stalker, Darkplaces (Quake 1), do I need to go on? Go and play your unmodded console ports on your 8800gt if it makes you feel better about yourself.
