    yep running with two kits
I'm running 8-8-8-22 which is the Jdec#3 SPD you can see below

If you use everest Motherboard SPD Tab, there is more info on sub timings, I just manually enter the timings into bios, that's also why i put the long and short timing names in the template, it helps keep track . I tend to start there as a rule, with most ram, but these didn't need any tweaking just run at that . Which means they could probably be tightened a little more?
Not got round to it yet

Page 4 of your thread had a run with 7-7-7-19 timings and different subtimings than what I have, I was wondering where those came from. Are those the ones Everest shows for the G.SKILL F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH? Maybe I'm thinking of a different thread, but I thought you had a kit of those too.

    Hey guys!
Are these voltages safe for 24/7 use?

    CPU speed: 20x200
cpu voltage: 1.384V under load (idle = 1.472V => how to reduce this? enable Speedstep in BIOS??)
    IMC voltage: 1.25V
    DRAM: 1.65V
    CPU PLL: 1.80V
    PCH: 1.05V
    CHA DATA: 0.525x
    CHB DATA: 0.525x
    CPU Differential: 1000mV
    Clock skew: 200ps

These settings are Prime-stable, but are they safe to use 24/7?
Temperatures (air cooled) are about 70°C max. under load...

What do you think? Any hints on how I could reduce CPU voltage?

You may be able to lower your vcore a little by bumping up the VTT/FSB voltage a little, test it with Prime blend again. Another option is enabling LLC (if the board has that option) that will stop the vdroop and lower your idle vcore.

For those running 860/870's, are you leaving hyperthreading enabled?

I will test that later, but I allready tried a lot of different settings, I bumped up the VTT( "IMC" ) voltage to 1.40V, but it won't run stable...it seems like my CPU "loves" those volts..
I also tried to that "Speedstep" - it works just fine, it reduces the multi, but not the vcore...

And I will try with LLC, too...but I read a lot about that LLC, and that it's not recommended to use it (because of intel's specs?)...

But thank you for your help!

Leaving it enabled, if you turn it off all you have is an expensive i5-750

If you're running your 870@3.5GHz, just keep it enabled.

QFT! I'm looking at i7-860 and the Asus board now! If my trade goes through.

Yeah, it's an 860 at 3.5 for now, 21X167. Just not enough time for now to push higher, but that 3.5 was super easy. 1.25 volts, most everything else auto, but I did check that none were stupidly high.

    few updates:-
    1) 170bclk Turbo mode using vcore offset:-

Unfortunately not manged to get much higher than 170 and stable. would like to get a bit higher for a decent 24/7 clock, that ticks the boxes power wise.

So went back to brute force

    Not bad!
I'm running my 750@200x20@1.3500v, no errors with prime and OCCT 8hrs.
However, if I need to pass Linpack, I have to increase voltage to 1.375 and disable VT.

disabling Virtualization Tech made a difference? I was under the impression it had no bearing on overclocking. I usually just disable it because I don't use it...

also what IMC voltage are you using for that 20x200?

IMC will be 1.225v... I also enabled llc, some ppl said it's bad to enable it, but looks like it's better for me to enable it.
