Nice scores, too bad things didn't work out perfectly in the end. Och well, some days it just doesn't happen ...
Mind games.. nothing more 5870 Cards seems to clock well on other boards, so it might be fixable problem. We will investigate it.

SF3D, can you just tell how high c3 can go for 3d ? 03/05/06 I'm not playing vantage.

second card was vmoded or it was stock v ?
All cards were using non stock voltage of course. We were using GPU Tool to overclock the cards. Seems to work perfectly and will be out really soon I guess.

Well seems like you guys had some fun. And thanks for sparing us the sauna pics. :-p Too bad you didn't run P at higher clocks, shows plenty of potential.

Really nice scores, I have to try LN2 on the 5870 really soon.

Yes I believe This was not even the limit yet.. we were running out of LN2, so we had to stop at 6412MHz. It was running without issues

We learned our lesson from last sauna pics..

Well, it was really frustrating for us to try to solve that weird system issue, so we just did one run to see the outcome.

Next time 4 cards and higher clocks = Very nice X preset score for sure.

Phenom seems to be good in game tests, even X preset is not supposed to be very CPU bounded. With these new generation cards we will start to see some scaling from CPU as well

    Very nice

Why does anyone run the xtreme pre-set on vantage? Its not ranked on hwbot, so its a waste of time. Even for pre-testing etc why not pre-test in something that matters?

I think that because there isn't "in" the hwbot, doesn't mean that can't be runed!.....

Should be great CPU as well. Crack the 11 minutes, please

Cards are ATI and no custom bios or drivers. You just need to know what to do

Yeah.. you were maybe 2km away, when we started to get some scores out Too bad we did not have more hardware to play this time, but next session will be more interesting

Thanks James! There is some potential for sure. We just need to find some fix first

Because X preset is not CPU limited and there you can see the full potential of graphics card. That is the best graphics test there is at the moment (talking about hardware only)

Also X preset is Xtremely heavy, so if you can run 1250 on X preset, it will not fail in 05 or 06 for sure.

    Nice job @SF3D.
Amazing CPU (6.3Ghz) and GPU (1.2Ghz) over.

One question... the vid of X4 965 rev. C3 displayed on CPU-Z, is it real??? Because looks incredible for me... 6.3Ghz @ 1.45 vcore.

    Thanks.
