    Thanks guys!

It's very easy to do actually. If done properly, it's done with a special lens called a tilt-shift lens, but these are quite expensive and practically nobody has one. I just took a picture and used this easy to use site for it: http://tiltshiftmaker.com/. It's also possible with photoshop, which also yields better results, but I think that the website does a fine job as well.

    Thanks guys!

Here's today's, I've decided to try a new format, 16:9. I find that it allows for some very interesting framing.

Have a look at this guy's photos for some seriously awesome photography:

He's not even a 'pro', just a french guy living in Japan that like to takes pictures.

One doesn´t need to be pro to take good pics. I think this whole thread proves that.. And I think that even its better to not be "pro".. somehow, pics from someone who shoot just for fun, have something in it, that sometimes "pro´s" lack.. Sorry for being too "universal" if thats the right word.. (srry my english sux). Hope you get what I meant.

iso 3200 F/7.1 ? you must be on auto mode?
    congratulations on the new camera!
i had the T1i for a few days to play with and did not like it one bit. either i had a bad one or it is prone to over expose extremely heavily.
plus my sigma EX DG ST ETT_II flash did not work with it. (requires a firmware update)

    here is my nightly addition
a little photoshop trickery adding a new layer, select the center statue on the new layer, then click inverse selection so the rest of the picture is selected, then add gausian blur to that selection and make opacity 60%, then select the center statue again and then hit delete so that the statue form the 2nd layer is gone and only the original sharp non blurred one is there.

Nah I wasn't on auto, all the light in that picture is from the laptops screen, and I can't really hold the camera steady (lost my tripod) for a longer exposure... still haven't really figured out exactly what F-Stop does exactly but I see what it does to the picture. Sofar I've taken a whole crap load of pictures but mostly they've sucked because I'm not used to the whole SLR thing (believe it or not point and shoot are alot different then SLR's... atleast to me)
I hate Auto mode because then it pops up the flash when I don't want it, and it doesn't let me change it to what I want.
