It's 4.8 I think, get one already and overtake thegoateater hehehe
it's listed as 6.4 everywhere else
i'm already spending too much for the moment, got to slow things down a bit
i just brought a dog like new condition, never overclocked, going to pick it up tomorrow
but i need a better cpu this w3520 i have is no good under cold
I'll guess I will start with that one done.
You know where I can get some insulation for that pot? i just checked on Koolance website it comes naked.
A guide to first runners would be much appreciated thru PM thanks
What are the costs for running 3DMark benches per day with dice (just a blind ballpark)?
Just noticed we're almost at 7K![]()
10LBs and almost 8 hours and i'm ready for a nap.......

i'll forward you the little notes i forwarded to mk_ultra........its for dice..not ln2
i'm not sure if the koolance pot is good for ln2 ..though..dice its quite good....
if you're totally set with the bios settings....10lbs is good for about 1-3hrs ...get a hammer to powderize the dice blocks...
for the insulation go here http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...40#post4032140
i asked kingpin for some thicker rubber tube insulator...
i hope he's not that busy![]()
Desperate times calls for desperate measures......
Need a little more time to get used to all this plus I still have plenty of stuff to keep me busy with AMD however I will grab some points for us soon.

+1 - for me its because if it ain't worth any points I see no point -- but now I will be posting more often since I have stuff to show off
reviews/ performance analysis and the like are in the works for the 790GX-G65, P55-GD65, and Lightning 275 /// very impressed wit Platinum SLI I tested teh W3570 on - best budget board in my book

Hopefully our team will hit 7k soon...
Finishing setting up the watercooling... still waiting on the i7 975, but have a i7 920 D0 to run for now anyway....
Keep on working guys!![]()

Some great scores have been posted today!
Hondacity is running is GTX 295 through all the 3Dmarks he can get!
Linuxfan has been running 05 and loonym was able to get to first place for Core 2 T6670 with his Dell laptop!
Then another member has contributed, Flasker is testing his Core i5 750, his 9800X2 ( still seems to be a powerfull card ) and his Mushkin memory!
Way to go team!![]()
It's more like DDR3-1750 CL6-6-5-20!DDR3-1600 CL5 would be awesome indeed...
Up to today I was quite happy with my CPU, I can reach high NB clocks with high RAM frequency quite easily, but when I want to clock the cores, my second core freaks out. With 2800MHz NB and 800MHz RAM it's not even stable at 3GHz, while core 3 is stable at 3.6GHz, and the best cores, 1 and 4, are stable at 3.8GHz with 1.55V Vcore.
When I use a low NB ( 2000MHz ) I can bench WPrime 1024M and 06 at slightly more than 4GHz on all four cores easily, but of course I lose performance because of the low NB...
I'm a bit dissapointed to be honest, I've already tried many things, but I've seen X2 550s that are better than my 965.
@chew*: Maybe you can do some magic?!
I don't have a lot time left before I have to finish my testing as I start my academic studies, so I will concentrate on single threaded benchmarks for now and try what I can get with very high NB and RAM frequency and a single core clocked high, and the others clocked very low.
However, today's update:
loonym and \/ENDE][A are on fire! Benching a T6670 and a HD 3470, a 9500 GT and two 8600 GTs respectively.
Two members bring out the big guns, Linuxfan hit 320k in AM3 with his single GTX 295 and justin.kerr was able to score more than 35k in 3DM Vantage with two GTX 295s clocked at 720/1190MHz on water.
Oh, and I've posted two WPrime runs at 4GHz with a low NB...![]()
Woot i finally put up a couple points. lol this weekend I will try to get a few more.

Thanks, will try to get more, I should have had you give the chip a magic rub before you mailed it to me, then I could get another 200mhz out of it?![]()

Yes pretty good, from what I have seen on the batch, , 4.55Ghz 12 hours prime needed 1.425v HT on, 3d Vantage 4.65Ghz is about all I have gotten yet, but I had about 1 hour last night, so I OCed the GPU's quick and dirty, same with the CPU.. so I will try to massage them a bit this weekend.
