    If we could get WCG supporting the GPU I have a feeling we'd have no problem taking first... or at least challenging for it.

    Glad we can help, although we will routinely vanish. The systems I am using are from a "Cluster for Hire" company, and most of the time they are doing contract work. Just seems a shame to run HPL and other codes for warmup / breakin when they can do some real good in their "spare" time.

    IMHO Waste is a computer going to a landfill having done actual computations less than 90% of it's life. 90% of the computers powered on right now are idle or powered off; what a waste! I'm sure when we get the power bill there will be heck to pay... Hoping the Clean Energy project pays off soon

    Our affiliation with the UIUC is largely proximity, but it seemed a shame not to join a team. Most of our systems have 1 or 2 GB/core and Infiniband... I guess we need some special projects to really help these machines be all they can be.

    We have 2 supercomputers here at UTexas... but it's pretty busy. The good thing is they put it on their WCG team in any downtime... but it's never been 100% WCG- always mostly used.

    We just need one that someone here has access to...

    My points and WUs per day have been off for 2 weeks and I cannot figure out why or where. Pending Validation is lower than normal and each machine seems to be off like maybe 1 or 2 WUs or a few hundred points each day. It isn't catching up. Have had off days but always caught up. This time it isn't.

    @PG ... have you changed projects recently? Some projects really do earn more/ less points than others for the same amount of CPU time.

    No I take all except the problematic HPF but that is a good point, the mix I am getting maybe leaning more towards one than another. I look at that and see if I can tell anything.
