Am currently trying to remove the 4pin PSU and PCI-E cable to sleeve them... but 1hr try and 0 done

Those Corsair PSU are a pain in the back side... I've tried stable, Molex pin remover and another pin remover... This is getting on my nerve now

DO you mean a single 120.1 instead of the swiftech 240mm infront of the harddrive cages?

If you do so, where will you keep your pump/pumps?
Anyway, if you wanted my opinion on it: Keep the 240 rad instead of that 120mm.. Looks nicer with bigger rads (again.. my opinion), and it cools better.

Yes, I mean single fan rad at the bottom of the case instead of the MCR220 in front the HD cage. The pump/rez will be fitted on the MB tray.

Am sure i will have enough room for the MCR220 rad and the GTX285. I will see how it look. But from other project using this method I have seen, am no so much of a fan on the way the barb will be facing... we will see I guess

The i7-920 chip you got is C0/C1 rev. Its not bad, but gonna need to use higher voltages to get a stable OC. Awesome parts though... I got the same mobo, love it.

Yeah, I would definetly send it back.
I had a C0 and I sold it and bought a D0 instead.

The spec would SLBEJ for D0.

Its not horrible that you got a C0 chip, just that it might not OC as high with the same volts that a D0 can. You should be able to get relativly the same results... just with higher volts and slightly higher temps but if you want to OC the chip to around 4ghz, you should be fine.

You should be able to do that with a C0 chip... but a D0 would be a lot easier.

Little update.

Still waiting for a couple order so i can move on. been busy this week, so no much time to work on this. (only have time the weekend mostly)

i got some sleeving done.

The 3 SATA cable am going to use (all Straight/90°)

Nils provided me some Black sleeve, so I tried them on the temp sensor with the RIIE. (did not have good quality heatshrink) but it's look good.

And the work done on the PSU so fare.

Am not sure what to do with the 2 extra pin on the PCI-E (for the 8pin). I Think i'll just sleeve them and hide them somehow.

Am waiting on the 1/2 heatshrink so can make the whole thing at the base of case look better.

Looking great, Ced-G60.

About the extra 2-pins for the PCI-E cable, you can always cut them off (and then just re-solder them back on if you ever have the need for them), but you can also hide them as long as you leave them long enough.

You shoulda just ordered the Psychopack from MM website lol... yes its extra money... but you would have way more than enough ud need in case you end up making mistakes or don't like the way it looks.

Small news.

Removal of the original RIIE blocks

Here we have some great quality control from ASUS....

The Koolance kit install. missing one the mofset block. PPCS did not have the plate for it. Am ording it from highflow this week.

Ill have some better quality picture once its done
