You could go with the LT as well, it's a tad cheaper.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] The Obamanator!!!
GTX 480 Griddle Edition - Bit-Tech.net
Thats a badass WC setup, sadasius! I always wonder are WC rigs silent, even though there are radiator fans they must be ultra-low RPM.
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Bring... bring the amber lamps.
Yeah they can be but mine is made for performance....Want to see how loud some of the fans can get? Just click one of my youtube links in my sig. I use all San Ace fans from 2000 rpm to 6000 rpm on GTX rads. Once the 5870X2 comes out it will take it's place. Who knows maybe even 2 5870X2's!
@ Your_Boss..... Tubes can be routed in pretty much any configuration you can think of. As long as the cooler is single slot you can put in 4 cards if you wanted and just hooking them up. Mine looks like that because I am almost cooling everything I can think of plus added a few more things with all 1/2" X 3/4" tubing.
My 4870X2 EK block is single slot as well... not sure where this dual slot talk is coming from
There are a number of "single-slot" waterblocks out there that don't recess their bolts, so all you need is for them to tip a few millimeters to the side and their screws will short out whatever card is immediately below them.

Of course we want benchies![]()

well the core detects as 850mhz and the ram as 1200mhz under CCC
As far as I remember to OC using CCC I open it, hit diplay options correct? I tried every tab anyway, can't seem to find it using these drivers.
I can say on my stock clocked i7 965 it's not playable in crysis warhead full hd res with 8x aa, was reallly smooth without the aa at enthausist settings, maybe 2x aa is doable. lol I'll try to run some benches on that, I only have that and the heroes of newerth beta installed![]()
Don't know if this has been posted yet put it shows 5870 performance vantage score being just under 16000 which puts it about 60% faster than stock 4890.

Dude, we even have fps numbers from AMD's confidential slides from numerous games a few pages ago Mr. BSEL. Yes, it has been posted.

When AMD had 64-bit and Intel had only 32-bit, they tried to tell the world there was no need for 64-bit. Until they got 64-bit.
When AMD had IMC and Intel had FSB, they told the world "there is plenty of life left in the FSB" (actual quote, and yes, they had *math* to show it had more bandwidth). Until they got an IMC.
When AMD had dual core and Intel had single core, they told the world that consumers don't need multi core. Until they got dual core.
When intel was using MCM, they said it was a better solution than native dies. Until they got native dies. (To be fair, we knocked *unconnected* MCM, and still do, we never knocked MCM as a technology, so hold your flames.)by John Fruehe
