i put in 1.95 in the end it would not even boot was stuk on mem det

and extract the ISO image. Burn the ISO image to an CD-ROM disk.

Insert one stick in the second slot. Boot to the Memtest CD with that single stick and allow for two full passes. Shut the system down. Remove the first stick and insert it in slot four. Repeat memtest. Shut the system down. Remove the first stick and replace it with the second stick and repeat memtest. You have now tested two sticks singly and Slot 2 and 4.

Now test for the Dual Channel Mode function of the memory controller. Insert a stick in slot two and slot four and memtest.

Results? Can you post a screenshot of the Memtest with Dual Channel and your BIOS settings.
