That's DDR3 and probably Acard power for ya... it's not always the highest Mhz that counts, though it helps

Yeah your right, I'm so frustrated.

Got 4 SSD's tried all the strip sizes, all combination's of OS, different memory speeds, sticks and timmings, etc etc etc all comes down to HDD General Use and HDD Virus Scan!

I will probably have to get the Acards.

    Best combo for me:

    - OS: Win Vista32 nlite + all SSD's in Raid_strip 128k + Ati Tweakforce XG Catalyst 9.6 or 9.8.

chew* running 05 on his AMD setup with four 4890s @ 1050/1150!

I have some new hardware to play with, I finally got my Phenom II X4 965 from Simon, yesterday I discussed what board and RAM to get with chew* and today I bought a UD5P and some memory. I saw someone found Hyper on 1333C9 Kingston sticks, so I even had someone from my preferred hardware shop look through all Kingston ValueRAM sticks for some Hyper sticks, but no luck.
So it was down to either G.Skill, Corsair or OCZ for some Hyper sticks. OCZ is out of stock, the only guaranteed G.Skill Hyper kit is the new 2200C8 kit, and for the Corsair I'm not sure which kit uses what kind of Elpida ICs. Finally I decided to buy a Corsair Dominator GT 2000C8 dual kit, that was way cheaper than the G.Skill kit. I'm not gonna pay ~300€ for two sticks...

I will setup the system later today, wish me luck, this is the first time I'm using an AMD CPU, a quadcore in general and DDR3-memory...
