Thanks xsx112, here's the translated version:
Yesterday, the trade press and other industry companies and individuals belonging to the new generation graphics card from AMD / ATI was presented. London, Munich and not to forget the USS Hornet were the locations of the presentations.

    HD5850 - HD5870 - HD5870X2
Be final specifications of the available graphics cards at the start of the new series, the HD5850 and HD5870 have been announced. Thus, the HD5870 will work with a core clock of 850 MHz and a memory clock of 1200 MHz. As is well known that the GDDR5 memory of the 4th generation to be equipped. Also, the presumed 1600 shader units have been confirmed.

In the HD5850 you will need a GPU clock of 725 MHz and a memory clock of satisfied 1000 MHz. For the price it was said that the HD5870 will have to be below 400 U.S. dollars. Whether this now means that the HD5870 will have to be at a price of 399 U.S. dollars or a price of under 350 dollars is still unknown. To HD5870X2 there is no further information regarding specifications or prices. The HD5870X2 will be available several weeks after the two starting models.

For performance, the HD5870 was compared to the GTX285, which according to the measurements and benchmarks of AMD on average is about 50% faster. September will be launched and fully available. How this will not make it exactly, you can not say for sure.

Windows 7, DirectX 11 and Games
It was at the presentation of a lot of talk about DirectX 11 and of course Windows 7, games could not be missing. Thus, the new DirectX been proposes 11 techniques and the new games. BattleForge is according to our information even before the launch of Windows 7 to get an update, which furnish the DirectX 11 support.

Besides BattleForge was surprisingly STALKER: Call of known Pripyat, which will also support DirectX 11th Auch Alien vs. Also Alien vs. Predator has been named along with Colin McRae Rally: DiRT 2 as the new DirectX 11 titles, which will look stunning as specified by our source.
    So it's official.

I'm wondering how Nvidia is gonna respond to this? Another can of whoopass or huge price slashing.

The normal 5870 only has 3 display outputs, if you take note of the marketing slide.

The 6 display port 5870 will be released at a later time in conjunction with Samsung's monitor line.

If I had to guess, the 5870 X2 will not have 6 outputs, much less 12.

    50% faster then 2xx?
    2xx is GTX285 or GTX295
    I think it 's GTX295 !
When AMD had 64-bit and Intel had only 32-bit, they tried to tell the world there was no need for 64-bit. Until they got 64-bit.
When AMD had IMC and Intel had FSB, they told the world "there is plenty of life left in the FSB" (actual quote, and yes, they had *math* to show it had more bandwidth). Until they got an IMC.
When AMD had dual core and Intel had single core, they told the world that consumers don't need multi core. Until they got dual core.
When intel was using MCM, they said it was a better solution than native dies. Until they got native dies. (To be fair, we knocked *unconnected* MCM, and still do, we never knocked MCM as a technology, so hold your flames.)

the 50% figure from a gtx285 was with older drivers. So unless they hit a roadblock with optimisations or got too involved with other softwares,it should end up faster than a gtx295 quite easily.

50% more then 285gtx makes quite sense since it puts it right next/a bit above the 4870x2.

And that's all we should be asking for imho. 50 percent faster than GTX 295... Jesus, are we in wonderland?
Notice any grammar or spelling mistakes? Feel free to correct me! Thanks
