got the rest of the parts from powdercoating.

the ulta x3 1600W PSU was powdercoated in satin black together with the radgrill some fan grills and the K350 waterblock mounting system.

I think that the grill looks better with the fan grills mounted. any opinions?

The rest of the parts arrived today soi started assembling the system.

Need to finish all the sleeving. Replace the SAS drives with intel SSD's and install a small box on the SR1 240 mounted outside to hide the rad and the vents. Already ordered 4 Enermax Magma fans to install another set of two on eacu SR1 in push-pull.

started to think how can i install all the rads inside the case, because that SR1 240 rad hanging on the back of the case started annoying me. So i picked the old radbox which i designed for this case and ordered a second HWLabs GTX 240 radiator and a HWLabs 120 GTX radiator. The 240GTX arrived next day but for the 120GTX i need to wait another week. So i started mounting the rads inside the radbox and when the 120GTX will arrive the SR1 rad mounted on the back of the case will be removed and the 120GRX will be mounted inside the case. For a better flow in the loop i added a second laing pump in connected in series with the one on the dual XSPC reservoir. This is the result:

Did some tests and i was able to run the quad sli at 750MHz/1250MHz which IMO is a good achievement.

Now i need to redesign the radbox for better aesthetics. I will build the final version of the radbox using only two pieces in U form, they will be fastened using rivet nuts and screws for easy cleaning. after that powdercoating and final mount. I'll post some pictures with the design soon.

love the industrial rail mount power supply with a molex pullled out of it on the side of your table And looking nice, and the backplate sinks are NB sinks?

the sinks are southbridge sinks made by Microcool Black SouthSink. I found them @ Sidewindercomputers.com and they do a great job on the backplates. Before mounting them i cleaned the backplates with alcohol for a better grip. The Industrial rail mount PSU is used for leak testing and some other stuff cause it's easier to connect everything to it. With the usual PSU i need to hot-wire the 3-4 pins each time.

I don't really like tubes order, they looks like messed, but I suppose it's hard to make it better with so many rads. Awesome job besides that

So. I assume no fans are actually going on the rads? Might be a dumb question, sorry

yep, you're right. only those two delta fans pull the hot air out from the radbox and cold air is sucked in trough the two radiators. Both of the delta fans are capable of 200CFM and i have them hooked up on a fan controller, when i bench or i do some testing i just rotate the knowbs a little bit and a small turbojet start to taxi on my table. Anyway the delta fans are not so loud because they are not mounted on the radiator directly they only move the air out of the radbox.

L.E i found an early pic of the radbox concept, with blue arrows i represented the cold air sucked in trough the rads and with ted arrows the hot air pushed out.

Just finished the radbox. I started to install the double adhesive tape which will seal all the small gaps and force all the air to enter just trough the radiators. Here are the first pics after powdercoating. Enjoy.

evian, i'm from romania so shipping fees will kill this kinda business from the beginning. But if somebody is interested i can post the drawings and with a laser cnc or a cnc waterjet and a bending machine each one of you can do your own radbox. I already do a second one for a friend of mine. this is how it looks after laser cutting and before bending and powdercoating
