Hey Sommer.
Welcome to Xtreme!!![]()
Thats a nice fsb for a mobile in an NF7, seems to me that they don't like FSB as much as standard Desktop chips.
Maybe I'm wrong, but thats what it seems like.
Nice Job, and GL with it.

Zen2 Has brought AMD back!
im at 10.5x250 on my mobile 2500+ w/o the L12 mod. Using the DFI Infinity
Intel Core i5 2500k @ 4.7GHz
Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3
8GB Corsair DDR3-1600
MSI GTX 680
XFX 750W Black Edition
Corsair Carbide Air 540
Excellent Droz!!
Thats why I purposely threw in the NF7 situation.
Seems the DFI does a few things differently from the NF7.......
Much to the chagrin of users of the NF7, as they have had ample time to iron out these issues, but they remain.
GL with ya board Droz.

hehe yup. Im having a vdimm undervolt problem with the DFI but it seems like im one of those unlucky few. I know of one other person who has the same vdimm undervolting issue.

it seems that infinities dont need the l12 mod...
@Sommer.. Did you try the L12~~>166 first ?
I tried the 166 mod and it didnt help me.. Im debating on giving the 200 one a try..
Thunda
No, I painted the cpu to 200 before I tried it in the mobo.@Sommer.. Did you try the L12~~>166 first ?

Thanks muzzWelcome to Xtreme!!![]()
Funny thing I couldn't get above 235 stable in prime95 and memtest, i just tried 238.5 and stable in memtest still priming.
Got the cpu and mem on friday, hope it will age as wine and go
higher, 240fsb would be nice![]()
nice, can you link to what pins you painted for 200mHz??
C
Sure
200 pin mod
Man... if u can beat this D22 Alpha 1 bios record that will be awesome...Originally posted by Sommer

Great overclock!
I don't have the tools for that kind of speed, but I will try
the vdd mod later for maybe 240-250fsb, still priming 238.
Did a couple of superpi and 3dm2001 runs, looks like a stable overclock so far.
Excellent Sommer!!
Let us know how you make out with that, sounds like a decent combo for sure.
Zen2 Has brought AMD back!
Good to hear its been improving. 200 MHz over my desktop chip easy but seems resitant to hold up for more....but I want 300!
Are you able to have CPC enabled with that Ram Somer? Is that the gold?

Yes, CPC enabled, and Rev2 EL Gold Edition. I'm getting a second
stick as soon as I can afford it, will use it in a A64 system later on.
Update on fsb, now on 239.5 for 2515MHz, priming as we speak.
I did try a pulldown on AH30 for 166 default FSB on my XP-M and NF7-S v2.0 and the result was a few MHz worse then without it.
But my board is a bit strange, i get worse fsb with Cpu Interface disable for example.
