    I have the v2.2 at home running 1160 @ 2.1v 5-5-5-15.

They work quite well. Although more voltage to them do not in anyway shape or form add to the increase in o/c.

I'd prolly have to loosen up the timings to get the most out of them.

Any idea on what sorta timings i'd need to get them up to 1200?

Might not be possible regardless, & how they scale will vary IC to IC.

If yours are the Micron revision, it seems CAS 6 usually gets you farther.

Basically i'd try 6-6-6 & then worry about tightening later.

TBH, i highly doubt you'll get enough additional MHz @ 6-6-6 or 6-5-5 over 5-5-5 to make it worth it though.

ok. i might just stick with the settings i've currently got.

I can usually get 11g read, 9.5g write and 12g copy with a latency of 44.1 on everest, so i'll stick with that then!

    Thanks guys.

*BTW that's on an am2+ system running a 940BE just so you don't get confused*

    Thanks

OK! i just changed motherboards to a DFI DK-790FXB-M2RSH. Great mobo has lots of o/c options (although half of them i have NO idea what they do/mean).

As alot of the terms in the bios for memory timings have changed (and the sequence has changed too), is there any1 that can advise me on subtimings?

I know that the first 4 should be 5-5-5-15, but there are about 10 other subtimings that i have no idea on where to set them (even if it's a base guess and i can try adjusting up and down from there to find stability).

Problem is with this board it doesn't seem to have an EPP setting (that i can find) so i am not trusting the SPD/auto settings that are placed (as i'm seeing numbers that i never saw on the GBT MA790FX-DQ6 from the memory section.

Below are memory settings i will put in brackets what i have selected so far.

i'm running 8gb of the 2.1 and they clock into the ~1120's at stock voltage and timing 5-5-5-15. trouble is i have had 3 sticks go south on me, not ever overvolted.
